Membership information
The members of the Salt Spring Island Golf and Country Club are always ready to welcome newcomers. Whether you are an avid golfer or are interested in taking up the game of golf, our club is a great facility with much to offer. Drop into our Pro Shop to inquire about your new membership.
2009 Membership Costs
New members are required to pay an initial Membership Entrance Fee, as well as Annual Playing Fees. Playing Fees cover the calender year, January 1st to December 31st and are pro-rated on a monthly basis for the first year of membership
Our current Membership Costs* are as follows:
2009 Membership Joining Cost: $950.00
2009 Membership Spousal Joining Cost $634.00
2009 Annual Playing Fee Cost: $850.00

Intermediate Memberships
Intermediate memberships are available for anyone between the ages of 19 and 25 and provide young golfers an opportunity to join the club and play golf with Reduced Playing Fees (1/3 of Adult Member Playing Fees).
Intermediate members are also able to pay the current entrance fee of $950.00 over a period of 5 years with no administration costs.
When the intermediate member reaches the age of 26, he or she is automatically transferred to a full playing member.

Entrance Fee: $950.00
Payment Plan $190.00 per year for 5 years
Annual Playing Fees $284.00 for the yearAll annual fee charges are based on a January to December calendar year and are pro-rated on a monthly basis for the first year of membership.
Junior Memberships
(Under 19 year of age)
The cost per year for a junior membership is $115.00 (plus tax and optional $29.00 BCGA Fee) for boys and girls - an outstanding value for all young golfers. For more information on the Junior programs, please visit the Pro Shop.

• 10% Discount on all Purchases in the Pro Shop except for Golf Clubs

• Members are entitled to enter their names on the locker and cart shed waiting lists
• Members are entitled to open an account in the pro-shop for merchandise
• Members become voting members of the golf club at the Annual General Meeting and are encouraged to become involved in the administration of the Golf Club
